Danielle was raised and educated in Johannesburg, South Africa. She started her career in the recruitment industry in 1988 when she joined a National Recruitment company. Several years later she formed her own company which ran successfully until she started her family and sold the business.

After immigrating to Canada in 1999, Danielle joined a Fortune 500 staffing firm. Danielle successfully ran the Edmonton branch for 3 years prior to relocating to BC to turnaround a struggling Vancouver branch. In 2005; Danielle moved back to Edmonton and joined a Deloitte Top 50 National Recruiting Firm as a Senior Recruiter. Two years later; after achieving Top Performer status; Danielle was promoted to General Manager running a Business Unit.

Danielle has extensive experience in recruiting and  filling temporary roles.  There are few better when it  comes to training and managing staff.  Danielle has built a reputation in the industry as being reliable and committed to needs of both clients and candidates.  This shows in the many service awards she has won over the years for top biller.

Barry was raised in Winnipeg where he completed his CGA designation. Prior to recruitment, he held senior management positions as CFO, Corporate Controller and Consultant within retail, manufacturing, distribution and mining sectors. Since moving into the recruitment industry five years ago, Barry has achieved Top Performer status with a Deloitte Top 50 National Recruiting Firm and was promoted to National Practice Leader for the Accounting & Finance Division.

Barry is well respected by his clients for his ability to understand their business and deliver star financial performers to help lead their organizations. Top tier clients have included Manitoba Telecom, Great-West Life, PwC, Maple Leaf Consumer Foods, BDO Canada, RBC, Investors Group & BFI Canada.

Barry is very active within CGA Manitoba in addition to his involvement on boards and committees of a number of organizations. Barry has a passion for adventure travel, playing competitive sports and spending time with his family, including long walks with Rupert, their Airedale terrier.

Sharon grew up near the beautiful beaches of South Carolina.  She holds both a Management Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration. Sharon worked in number different departments for a major Fortune 500 Telecom giant from Human Resources, Engineering and Dispatch Resource Management. She was then tapped to be the Mobility Manager in South Carolina overseeing a Federal Grant Program geared towards assisting adults with disabilities and the elderly before her big move to Edmonton.

In Edmonton Sharon’s passion to help and assist people continued in the retail arena until she found her way to Temps Ahead. Sharon is dedicated to building meaningful relationships based on matching her candidates to the right clients.  In her spare time, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family.

Ioana has over 7 years of recruiting experience, focusing on roles in accounting, administrative support, skilled trades and logistics. Prior to recruitment, Ioana worked in accounting and office personnel as an Accountant and Executive Assistant. It’s this industry experience that helps her to really understand the needs of her clients and candidates; always thinking from their perspective to truly find the right fit.


Having moved from Romania to Calgary and then Vancouver, she is adept at responding to market changes and quickly engages in new environments. Her responsiveness and wide professional network helps her daily as a consultant to clients and candidates alike.

Rachel hails from Ireland and arrived in Vancouver in 2010. She has a BA in Economics and Sociology and went on to achieve a Masters in Business Management.


Rachel launched her career in Ireland where she gained experience in finance and administration while working in the banking sector. Her love of travel led her to pursue a career abroad to gain international experience. She often worked as a temp during her travelling days and really understands what clients need from a successful temp. Taking this onboard, Rachel helped launch the TempsAhead division and has built strong and lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.


Rachel has a passion for singing and has recorded two CDs for charity with her choral group in Ireland. She also has a love for team sports, notably cricket where she has represented her country at underage level.

Terri-Lynn joined TempsAhead as our Client Services Administrator in July 2011. She has country roots, raised in Onoway, Alberta, and brought her talents to the Edmonton area where she had a successful career in customer service as a top retail manager for over three years. Terri-Lynn decided to enter the administrative field and was referred to The Headhunters during her job search. She has become a vital part of our team, providing essential administrative and accounting support.

When she is not managing the reception area of the Edmonton office you can find Terri-Lynn rollerblading, snowboarding, spending Saturdays at the farmer’s market, or playing with her new puppy, Kira.
